Home matches for both teams will normally have a 2pm face off at the Phoenix Centre Astroturf in Townhill. If both teams are playing at home on the same day, a change of time or venue will be arranged for one or both of the teams. This year a standard match fee of £5 per player (£3 for under 18’s) is applicable to all home games, this money will cover the cost of the pitch and the referee, any remaining funds will go to the club for training costs etc. Money will be collected before the game; if you don’t pay you won’t play.

At present transport to away matches is relying on players driving their cars. Drivers will be allocated on a rotation basis so as to share the driving as much as possible. If you are chosen to drive, please do so, if you have a valid reason not to please inform your manager or captain at the earliest opportunity. Simply not wanting to will not be a valid reason and if this is seen as being the case may lead to your place in the team being questioned.

If you are being driven please pay your driver before you leave, it is not fair for them to lose out on money, again if you don’t pay you won’t play.

After home matches we attempt to gain use of a sports bar in town which offers cheap drinks and a post match meal with the opposition. Food is normally quoted at £3 per head. These venues are nice to relax in, chat about the game watch some sky sports. It is considered mandatory that the hosting team allocate members to go to town with the away team, failure to do so is deemed bad form.
