Player Profiles
Ben Piper #44 Attack - Swansea Hawks Lacrosse Club 1st Team
Ben is entering just his 2nd season of Mens lacrosse. After a handful of outings for the 2nd team he was quickly brought into the 1st team after some impressive displays and obvious potential. He has not only managed to cement his place in the 1st team but has also benefited from playing for the Welsh U19 team this summer in Canada.
Tom Echanis (Coach) #15 Attack - Swansea Hawks Lacrosse Club 1st Team
Loud and Proud! If you dont see Coach you will certainly hear him. Very enthusiastic both on and off the pitch, loves making big meaty body checks and is the experienced head in attack. Started the club in 2001 and without him the club would not exist. If you have ever had some strange American guy shouting at you from the touchline, while you're playing in a tournament, it was probably Tom.
Daniel Wills (Pixie) #8 Midfield - Swansea Hawks Lacrosse Club 1st Team
Pixie has been a prominent fixture in the 1st team since day 1, and is 1 of only a handful of survivors from that 1st game. While he may be one of the smaller players on the team, he plays full of heart and is fast, strong and fully committed. Unfortunately due to study commitments he will only be a part time player this season, but will be a vital cog in the midfield engine when available to play.
Chris Webborn #16 Attack - Swansea Hawks Lacrosse Club 1st Team
Chris is entering his 2nd season of Mens Lacrosse and after a successful season in the 2nds team is hoping to break into the 1st team this season. Another of our Welsh U19 team Chris has returned from his experience a much more effective player. Chris proudly proclaims himself to be lacrosse mad and certainly backs this up by Coaching in two schools as well as keeping together the Sketty Scorpians team for which he is Captain. He is also the youngest member of the Swansea Hawks Committee taking the role of fixture secretary.
Craig Begley #? Defence - Swansea Hawks Lacrosse Club 1st Team
Begley also known as "The Woodsman" for the way he ferociously throws his D-pole around like hes cutting trees is another of the younger players to make a big impact for the 2nds team last season. With some big body checks and powerful stick checks, attackmen (or women) didnt dare go near him. Another player who will be hoping to gain some 1st Team experiance during the upcoming season.

Dave Jefferies (Jeffers) #4 Midfield - Swansea Hawks Lacrosse Club 1st Team
Dave is always Mr Dependable. A solid performer week in week out. Can play in Midfield or Defence but is opting for midfield this season. Is also a former Face-Off Specialist. Dave hits like a train and never stops running, and showed terrific footwork when playing in defence last season. He Knows the game very well and will play a huge role within the 1st team this season. Dave is also always up for a laugh, loves fancy dress especially on lacrosse nights out. Currently Club Captain.
